Nicki Minaj has broken her silence on what she describes as a “spiritual warfare within the music industry, claiming that unnamed but influential figures have been behind many of the challenges she and other talented artists have faced throughout their careers.
Speaking on episode 200 of ‘The Bryce Crawford Podcast’, hosted by evangelist Bryce Crawford, Minaj opened up on the personal toll of refusing to play by the rules set by those at the top, describing her experience as one of relentless spiritual warfare.
“It was constant spiritual warfare. I wish I kind of knew sooner that this music industry was such a spiritual experience because I felt like I brought a knife to a gunfight,” she said.
The singer and rapper went further, claiming that these powerful figures treat musicians like property, assets to be monetised, and actively sabotage those who refuse to fall in line.
When asked directly whether she believed the Illuminati was real, she stopped short of confirmation but did not dismiss the idea either.
“My situation, I feel like it’s very personal. I feel that there definitely is a group of people who have made things very difficult for me, but I don’t know if they’re Illuminati. I don’t know what they are,” she said, adding that she never looked at it like an entire secret society against her. “But who knows, you know? It could be,” she pointed out.
