Niger State governor Mohammed Umar Bago has forwarded 30 names of commissioner-nominees to the state House of Assembly.
The names were released yesterday evening by the assembly after an executive session following the late arrival of the list.
The commissioner-nominees are made up of six women in a bid to fulfill the 35 percent affirmative action as he promised during his inauguration.
The women nominees include; Titi Auta for Agwara; Binta Mamman for Gurara; Dr Hadiza Asabe Mohammed from Bida; Elizabeth Shaba, Paikoro; Fati Adamu from Rafi; and Hadiza Idris Kuta from Shiroro.
Others are General Garba Abdullahi Mohammed, Agaie; Suleiman Umar, Bida1; Ahmed Baba Musa Yumu from Borgu; Musa Bawa Bosso, from Bosso; and Nasiru Muazu from Chanchaga.
There are also Yakubu Kolo From Edati; Abdullahi Adamu Mamagi From Gbako; Yabagi Umar from Katcha; Phalal Mohammed Bako from Kontagora 1; Lawal Maikano From Kotangora 2; Muazu Hamidu Jantabo from Lapai; and Mustapha Ndajiwo from Lavun.
Also on the list are Garba Sabo Yahaya from Magama; Yahaya Ibrahim Gulbinboka from Mariga; Abubakar Umar Abule from Mashegu; Aminu Takuma from Mokwa; Maurice Magaji from Munya; Yahaya Alhassan Gwagwa from Suleja; Ibrahim Mami Ijah from Tafa; Bashar and Mohammed Lokogoma, from Wushishi.
There are also three special designates they include Dr Ibrahim Dagana, Sanda Umar and Suleiman Isah.
