Niger Governor Reiterates Commitment To Ending Insecurity

Niger State governor, Mohammed Bago has reiterated his commitment to ending security challenges in the state by investing heavily in the purchase of security equipment.
Governor Bago stated this yesterday when he paid Sallah homage to the Emir of Kagara, Alh Ahmed Gunna II at his palace in Kagara.

He disclosed that his government has invested a lot of money in purchasing sophisticated gadgets that could help in tackling insecurity in the state head-on.

The governor also used the opportunity to condole with the Emir and the people of the Emirate over the recent killings in Madaka where it was reported that about 60 people were killed during bandits’ attack.
He assured that his administration would work round the clock to ensure that security is tightened in the state.

Bago added that his government would not relent in its agricultural revolution which is aimed at increasing food production and security.

While acknowledging the support from the Kagara Emirate, the governor encouraged them to key into the initiatives of government at all levels and sustain their prayers for them.

The Emir of Kagara, Gunna II commended the governor for improving the security situation in the area which he said has encouraged farmers to return to their farms.

The Emir appreciated the governor for the visit and his tremendous efforts to better the lives of the citizens, promising that the Emirate would continue to support his people-oriented policies of the government.
