Niger Govt Confirmed 13 Killed In Bandits’ Attack

Niger State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has confirmed the killing of 13 people in Wednesday’s attack on Bassa and Anguwan Magiro villages in Shiroro local government area of the state.

The director, media and strategy of the  ministry, Habibu Wushishi, disclosed this yesterday while giving an update on the attack.

He said, “The ministry received with sadness and pains yet another news of dastardly banditry attacks in Bassa and Anguwan Magiro villages all in Shiroro local government area on 20th and 21st of August, 2024.”

He said in Anguwan Magiro, 13 persons were confirmed dead with many  injured and no case of abduction was reported.
