He explained that in developing the 5,000 hectares, a free trade zone will be established, adding that Dangote and BUA Companies will be given 200 hectares of land each to establish factories in the free trade zone to fast-track development and provide employment opportunities to the people.
Bago said the state government is making deliberate effort to take advantage of the Dam in Tagwai to bring massive development to Tagwai, Shakwatu and their adjourning communities.

He further disclosed that the state government will construct farm estates, green houses, and establish drip irrigation farming system, as well as basic social amenities such as roads, schools, hospitals and others for the people.

Similarly, the governor revealed that the communities would also benefit from the $2.5 billion livestock investment from Brazil.

He therefore appealed to the community members to cooperate and support the state government by allowing contractors to carry out projects without any hindrance.
