Chairman, Abia State House of Assembly Committee on Public Service, Erondu Uchenna-Erondu, has prayed for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country as it turns 65 years.
Uchenna-Erondu saluted President Bola Tinubu and the entire citizens for their resilience, unity, and shared hope, expressing optimism that despite the challenges better days are ahead.
The member representing Obingwa West constituency stated these in a message by his spokesperson, George Egejuru and made available to LEADERSHIP in Umuahia, the state capital, yesterday.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, legislator further encouraged the citizens not to despair but to sustain their prayers and collective faith in Nigeria’s progress.
“As we mark our 65 years of nationhood, we must not lose sight of the fact that our strength lies in our unity and the collective welfare of our people.
”Women and youths deserve greater attention in policy and governance because they are the worst hit by the prevailing economic challenges,” he noted.
I appeal to us all to remain hopeful, resilient, and prayerful, as there is surely light at the end of the tunnel,” said the erstwhile chairman of Obingwa local government.
The former director, Enyimba FC, Aba, urged the leaders to promote good governance, accountability, and delivery of people-oriented policies to sustain their confidence in its democracy.
