The second edition of the Africa Interviews Sustainability Forum will take place on 16th September 2025 at the Capital Club, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The forum will convene top business leaders, policymakers, and sustainability experts to discuss practical strategies for making Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles work for Africa’s unique development challenges.
Themed “Beyond Compliance: Making ESG Work for African Realities,” this year’s forum will continue the conversation that began at the inaugural edition, where senior figures from across sectors shared insights into the pressing issues of energy transition, inclusive growth, and governance in Africa. At the 2024 forum, panellists explored the complexities of integrating sustainability into business models and policies, particularly in Africa’s socio-economic realities.
Founder and Editorial Director of Africa Interviews, Sam Umukoro, said: “The Africa Interviews Sustainability Forum serves as a critical platform for actionable ESG strategies that directly address Africa’s unique challenges.
“By focusing on pragmatic solutions, we aim to drive sustainable growth and empower businesses to lead in global ESG conversations, creating long-term value for both business and society.”
The 2025 forum will feature a keynote speech, thought-provoking panel discussions, and invaluable networking opportunities designed to accelerate the development and implementation of actionable sustainability solutions for Africa.
With over 80 invited delegates from government, business, and civil society, the event promises to be one of the most influential gatherings of the year for those committed to shaping Africa’s sustainable future.
