Ifeanyi Onyeka, a Nigerian entrepreneur and PR strategist known as “joshxclusive.” He believes that Nigeria needs more entrepreneurs to share their journeys and motivate the next generation to achieve more.
Ifeanyi expressed his concern, stating that there aren’t enough entrepreneurs in Nigeria who have successfully built brands or startups and are willing to discuss their journeys, failures, and how they overcame challenges.
During a candid conversation with Ifeanyi Onyeka, he emphasized the significant impact this could have on aspiring entrepreneurs in the country, especially with the reach of social media.
He noted the traditional role of mentors in shaping the minds of potential entrepreneurs and encouraging them to believe in the possibility of success.
Ifeanyi Onyeka pointed out that social media could be used to reach thousands, if not millions, of entrepreneurs in Nigeria and around the world.
He encourages more entrepreneurs to share their stories and create a lasting legacy, regardless of the size of their community or following.
Reflecting on his own experience, Ifeanyi mentioned that in the past, he could only find stories from international figures like Dan Lok, Gary Vee, and Grant Cardone, which didn’t resonate with the Nigerian context.
Ifeanyi Onyeka stressed the importance of consciously providing guidance and mentorship to the next generation of Nigerian entrepreneurs.
He also highlighted some noteworthy individuals in the African continent, such as Vusi Thembekwayo, Jason Njoku, Tony Elumelu, and Onyeka Akumah, who are making significant contributions.
Additionally, Ifeanyi mentioned Beta Digitals, a marketing agency co-founded by him, which focuses on building strong online brands and generating leads for businesses in Nigeria, as a company to watch in the coming years.
