African Infrastructure, Climate Change and Investment Summit International (AICIS) has appointed a Nigerian, Dr. Oscar Sam Ugoh, as its adviser, Media and Publicity for Africa Investment Summit, holding in Washington DC, USA in September this year.
The appointment of Ugoh, who is a Ghanaian-based Nigerian publisher, is in respect of his unwavering contributions to the economic development in the Africa sub-region, International and Africa Business Ventures and Investment Group (ABVIG).
The summit which is in collaboration with the United States Department of Energy, Ghana Ministry of Trade and Investment and the Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry with the Niger Delta Affairs, is to create awareness and enabling environment for investment opportunities that abound on the African continent with a view to funding prospective investors towards the development of Africa.
The appointment letter solicited the cooperation of Ugoh in mobilising stakeholders in government and governors in Ghana and Nigeria towards ensuring their full participation in the summit.
According to the AICIS, the summit is aimed at bringing together more than 1,500 participants including government officials, institutional investors, business executives, small business enterprises (SMEs) and project owners to exploit the investment and partnership opportunity in more than $12 trillion business opportunities in the infrastructure, Green-energy transition and climate change, Space and amp; Digital/AI technology infrastructure in Africa.
