Nigerians Celebrate Fellow Atomic Researchers In U.S Varsity

The people of Okelele/ Ibagun community, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) and Gamji Members Association (GAMA) have hailed the appointment of a Kwaran, Dr. Kamaldeen AbdulRaheem Amode  as fellow of Atomic Energy Researcher at the University of Michigan, United States of America.

Kamaldeen, who hails from Amode compound, Okelele in Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State is the only researcher from Nigeria and Africa among other 13 persons  granted the fellowship by the American university.

The chairman of Ibagun Progressive Union (IPU), Alh Kuranga Omomeji Morogun congratulated Kamaldeen over the feat and for making Okelele community, Ilorin, Kwara and Nigeria proud.

He expressed delight over the exploit of Kamaldeen in research and education pursuit, noting that, “ our son, Kamaldeen is following the footsteps of his late father, Pharmacist AbdulRaheem Amode who cherished educational attainment during his lifetime.”

The IPU chairman rejoiced with AbdulRaheem Amode’s family, the people of Okelele/ Ibagun community and indeed Government and the  people of Kwara State over Kamaldeen’s achievement.

The Arewa Consultatives Forum (ACF), Kwara State chapter, in a statement issued by its chairman, Dr Mohammed Ghali Alaaya and the director of Media and Documentation, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, rejoiced with the people of Ibagun ward over the enviable feat recorded by one of their illustrious sons in the United States of America.

Describing the feat recorded by Kamaldeen as no mean achievement, the ACF congratulated him and seek Allah’s continued guidance for him in his endeavours.

Also, the GAMJI Members Association (GAMA), Kwara State’s chapter,  in a statement signed by its president general, Alh Mohammed Tunde Akanbi, congratulated the people of Ibagun ward, Kwara and the entire northern region on the achievement of Kamaldeen.
