The landmark victory was recorded during the 16th edition of the competition, held in Bangkok, Thailand, which featured contestants from 47 countries.

This year’s event was especially remarkable, with debutant nations like Cameroon, England, Benin Republic, and Mali joining the competition. Over the course of the pageant, participants engaged in various activities, including city tours and a series of preliminary contests that highlighted their physical attributes, cultural attires, and formal wear. Contestants also addressed topical issues, showcasing their intelligence, eloquence, and charisma.

Nwajagu outperformed top contenders Nguyễn Mạnh Lân from Vietnam and Glenn Victor Sutanto from Indonesia to clinch the title. In an emotional moment, the outgoing winner, Kim Thitisan Goodburn of Thailand, crowned Nwajagu as his successor.

Speaking about his journey, Nwajagu emphasized the values he holds dear: “Embracing a healthy life through fitness while unlocking your full potential.”
