NIPR Gets New Caretaker Members In Kebbi

Kebbi State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has inaugurated new caretaker committee members to oversee the affairs of the institute in the state.

At the inauguration, senior special assistant to the deputy governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Danjada Argungu was announced as chairman of the caretaker committee, Nura Tanko Wakili as vice chairman while the head of Information and Public Relations, Federal University Birnin Kebbi, Jamilu Magaji Muhammed is the general secretary.

Other members are Larai Saminu Nazo of NOA as financial secretary, CSP Nafiu Abubakar of Kebbi State Police Command as internal auditor and the deputy director, Ministry of Information, Aminu Adamu Kanya as PRO.

Also, three people – Garba Hamisu Zuru, Umar Rashid Gulma and Dr Abdullahi Sani – were appointed as ex-officio members.

The new chairman pledged to uphold the ideals of the NIPR and strengthen collaboration among communication professionals in both the public and private sectors.
