The assistant comptroller-general of NIS, Ismail Abba Aliyu, disclosed this yesterday when he addressed personnel at the opening of the zonal meeting for Adamawa, Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Plateau and Yobe states.

He said, “I assure you that for the Yobe State Command, Damaturu very soon the service will start constructing a new command office with a staff quarter for the comptroller. I learned you have a land. I will include it in my report after the meeting to communicate to the comptroller-general, Isah Jere Idris.”

Aliyu commended the personnel of the Yobe command for their discipline, dedication and hard work, appealing to them to sustain the tempo.

He said, “You will believe me that the service has changed, you have to participate in promotion exams to get promoted, therefore you are expected to exhibit a high level of discipline.”
