The fellowship entitles holders to Fellow of the Institute of Training and Development (FITD).

According to a statement issued in Jos by the head, press and public relations unit, Thomas Ngor, NITAD president, Mr. James Bulus while presenting the awards, commended Dr. Ogun for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of training, skills acquisition and human capital development in Nigeria.

He said under Dr. Ogun’s leadership, the ITF had expanded its training programmes, introduced innovative initiatives such as the Skill-Up Artisans (SUPA) Programme and strengthened collaborations with local and international partners to enhance Nigeria’s industrial competitiveness.

Dr. Ogun in his acceptance speech dedicated the award to the ITF family and stakeholders in the training and development ecosystem and described it as an honour and a responsibility.
