The deputy president of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has provided new football kits, including jerseys, boots and others to Nationwide League One (NLO) side, Barau FC of Kano.
The kits were unveiled and presented to the club yesterday in Kano by the chief of staff to the Senator Barau, Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdullahi.

Prof Abdullahi while reiterating the commitments of the deputy president of the Senate to continue support for the team, the entire youth in Kano State and beyond, described the jerseys as unique, smart and beautiful.

Barau FC chairman, Ibrahim Shitu Chanji said the gesture was aimed at preparing the team for the new season.

“We are ready for the tournament and we will make our founder and all our supporters proud,” he said.
The club will launch their new kits when they face ORLU United FC at Dutse Stadium in Jigawa on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in matchday1 of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO)
