The chairman of the Vegetable and Fruits Sellers Association, Utako Market, Federal Capital Territory, Mu’azu Hamza Karwai, has stated that no aspirant can defeat the incumbent Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, in the 2027 election.

According to Karwai, the Kano Governor’s impressive projects over the last two and a half years have earned him the love of the Kano people.

Speaking yesterday in Abuja, Karwai said the electorates in Kano State are knowledgeable about their choices, adding that they cannot make the mistake of electing a newcomer.

“Kano people need continuity of the good things the present Governor is doing. That is why they will continue to protect their vote as they did in the 2023 election,” Karwai said while urging the youth to be mindful of the politics of money because, in the end, nothing tangible will come out of it.

“In the past years, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has dedicated himself to service, declaring a state of emergency on education and recruiting many teachers.

“He also made an impact on infrastructure and healthcare. He established the Kano State Centre for Disease Control, just like the one in Abuja.

“The Governor is also offering free maternal motility services. In the agricultural sector, he has ensured the distribution of fertiliser to farmers. Additionally, he has provided infrastructures, including road construction and the provision of streetlights, while also empowering women and youths, Karwai added.
