Igboho on Thursday stated that the wishes to all Yoruba sons and daughters, both at home and in the diaspora in the New Year was to achieve the Yoruba Nation.

He assured all Yoruba people that the pursuit of self-determination remains steadfast and sacrosanct.

Igboho, in his the new year message issued by his spokesman, Olayomi Koiki, emphasised the collective commitment of the Yoruba people to achieving freedom and urged everyone to prepare for peaceful rallies and protests that would amplify the demand for Yoruba sovereignty.

“Our watchword remains ‘No going back.’ This is the time for unity, courage, and focus. We are resolute in our mission, and we call on all Yoruba sons and daughters to be prepared for what lies ahead.

“Peaceful protests and rallies will be held continuously to assert our rights to self-determination. Do not fear, this is a movement that will bring about the change we all desire.

“This is not the time for hesitation. We must sit up, organise, and move forward together. The journey may be challenging, but our destination is clear, and our victory is certain.

“As we step into this new season, we are closer than ever to achieving our dreams,” Igboho stated.
