Norrenberger, BAD Host Motor Bikes And Food Fest 5.0

Integrated financial services group, Norrenberger has partnered Bikers with Attitude and Determination (BAD) to host their Motor Bikes and Food Fest 5.0. The festival which took place at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The objective is to change the perception of people about bikers by emphasizing the power and range of motorcycles while celebrating African food, music, history, and art. The collaboration provided a platform to foster positive dialogue and a deeper understanding of the biking community in Africa while giving back to the community.

The Motor Bikes and Food Fest 5.0 created an inclusive and dynamic environment, uniting bike enthusiasts, food lovers, and cultural enthusiasts. It included the display of various types and models of motorcycles, immersing attendees in a truly unique experience.

The event provided attendees the opportunity to discover Africa’s different culinary traditions, while showcasing live performances by African artists. The music, which was rooted in tradition as well as contemporary, gave a fascinating depth to the celebration of African culture, history, and art.

As part of the initiative, a charity outreach themed: ‘Jollof to the Streets’ was held where food was distributed to the less privileged. A medical outreach was also conducted during the main event where volunteering attendees donated blood and free check-ups carried out.

Commenting on the partnership, GMD/CEO of Norrenberger, Tony Edeh ssid he was proud to partner with Bikers with Attitude and Determination for the Motor Bikes and Food Fest. Edeh said the event is about breaking stereotypes. “Through this partnership, we aim to create a platform for cultural exchange and appreciation, fostering unity and understanding among diverse communities.”

He further elucidate the importance of insurance, as the insurance arm of Norrenberger, International Energy Insurance Plc, was present to advance insurance knowledge, cascade the essentials of having an insurance policy, the optimum benefits and onboarding of attendees and participants.

The Motor Bikes and Food Fest attracted over 6000 attendees including bike enthusiasts, food lovers, and culture enthusiasts. The event showcased the power of collaboration and the potential for positive change within communities.
