The National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu is currently meeting with governors from the Northern states alongside service chiefs in his office behind closed doors.
Detail of the ongoing meeting is not known yet but it may not be unconnected with the recent resurgence of mass abduction from schools and other places in the region.
The meeting started at about 1:30 pm with the governors in attendance.
Recall that terrorists had on March 7, abducted 287 students from the LEA Primary and Junior Secondary School, Kuriga in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Also, 112 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) were abducted by terrorists at Gamboru Ngala in Borno State, while 15 students were also recently abducted in Sokoto States.
