Adeyemi III spent 50 years on the throne, reigning from 1970 to 2022.

The traditional rulers were in Oyo to show their solidarity and prayed to God to guide and give them the wisdom to deliver well for the well-being of their subjects and Oyo State.

The Sarkin Yoruba of Northern Borno, who also serves as the association’s Financial Secretary, led the delegation of Emirs and Obas from the 19 Northern States and FCT to Oyo.

He called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to build roads and Houses in Northern Borno because of the Boko Haram crisis, which caused havoc in their area.
