The chairman of the forum, Hon Suleiman Liba, who doubles as the special assistant to Yobe State governor on new media who made the commendation in a statement averred that Ribadu’s professionalism and innovations are yielding results in addressing security challenges in the country.

Liba also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing the right individuals into his cabinet.

He said Nigerians never doubted the capacity of Malam Nuhu Ribadu as his track records are very visible.

The statement reads in part, “Malam Nuhu Ribadu was the pioneer Boss of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and had left that office nearly two decades ago, but whenever EFCC is mentioned, the first name that comes to mind is that of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. This is so because he left a vacuum there that is yet to be filled.

Little wonder, he bagged a lot of awards and recognition locally and internationally during his time at the EFCC.”

He noted that before his appointment as NSA by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insecurity within the country hit a new height, but the president upon taking oath of office, immediately appointed Ribadu who hit the ground running.

“President Tinubu understands that the challenges are enormous and so started shopping for the right individuals with the right attitude and zeal to commit to the task ahead and it was by doing so that Malam Ribadu was appointed NSA.

“Malam Ribadu is a critical thinker and one of the most proactive Nigerians who always gets the job done. He devised new ideas to tackle crimes and insecurity.

“Today, Boko Haram is almost unheard of, and bandits and kidnappers have been greatly decimated, even the few hiding in forests around Northwest have been displaced and are currently on the run as they no longer have the peace to sit and carry out their heinous activities.

“Only recently the NSA turned his attention to Forex bandits and we all can see what great effect that has had on the value of the naira, the naira was declared the best-performing currency globally in April, kudos to the NSA and other stakeholders involved but the bigger thanks is to Mr President for fixing square pegs in square holes,” he said.

He added that the forum has come to encourage and acknowledge the NSA for the strides so far.
