NPFL: Amuneke Celebrates Heartland’s First Away Win

Heartland head coach, Emmanuel Amuneke is in a buoyant mood following the Naze Millionaires 2-0 win at Abia Warriors.

The victory was the Owerri club’s first on the road in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.
Heartland went in front through Michael Ogu after 12 minutes.
Chukwuma Agor’s 95th-minute strike sealed victory for the visitors.

“I can say I’m happy; we came here with the objective of winning and at the end of the day, we achieved our goal,” Amuneke said after the game.

“It’s a dream come true, but we also need to recognise the Abia Warriors team; they played good football and gave us a lot of problems, especially in the first half. But, thank God, we managed the situation well.”
