NPFL: Bendel Insurance Maintain Unbeaten, Nasarawa Utd Record First Win

Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin maintained their unbeaten runs in the 2022-2023 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)abridged season with a 2-2 draw away to Shooting Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan yesterday.

Hosts Shooting Stars had to rally back from two goals down to hold the Benin Arsenals to a 2-2 draw after Imade Osehenkhoe opened scoring for the visitors in the first minute of the game and Ismael Seriki added the second goal seven minutes before the break.

The Coach Monday Odigie-trained Insurance side have now extended their unbeaten streak to seven games in the NPFL, topping the Group A log with 17 points.

In other NPFL matches played yesterday, Remo Stars dropped points at home for the first time this season after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Plateau United.
