A former Plateau and Akwa United manager Kennedy Boboye is poised to take charge as the technical adviser of newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Barau FC.
According to reports, Boboye has held discussions with the management of the Kano-based club. A decision regarding these discussions is expected to be made public by the club before the week ends.
Boboye has yet to commit his future to Akwa United following the club’s relegation to the second-tier league. He has previously worked with Sunshine Stars and Heartland FC.
Boboye is a two-time NPFL title-winning coach with Plateau United and Akwa United.
