Nigerian champions Enyimba have entered into partnership with Swedish club, HamKam FC.
HamKam FC, according to the agreement between both clubs will help build up Enyimba’s structure especially at youth level.
“The purpose is to create a good collaboration that gives both clubs positive ripple effects. HamKam will help Enyimba build up the structure of their club, especially at youth level,” chief scout Jorgen Bjorn told the club’s official website.
”We will assist them in the form of us traveling down to Nigeria twice a year and holding training sessions with their teams. When we are there, we will also hold lectures on various academic topics such as methodology, physical training recovery and other important things.”
Also, as part of the agreement, Enyimba players will have the opportunity to train with HamKam first team as well as the U-19 team.
Enyimba currently occupy fourth position on the Nigeria Premier Football League table, three points behind leaders Rangers with nine games left in the season.
