Enyimba head coach Finidi George has said his players must be at their best against Sunshine Stars in Akure on Sunday.

The defending champions sit in second position on the Nigeria Premier Football League table, three points behind oriental rivals, Rangers.

A win against Sunshine Stars will boost their chances of retaining the title especially with Rangers facing a tricky test against Rivers United this weekend.

Finidi is aware of the task ahead of his team, especially with eight games remaining in the campaign.

“The team is aware of what is at stake on Sunday. We will approach the match with all seriousness. We want to win it by playing good football,” the former Ajax winger told the club’s media.
