Katsina United’s technical advisor, Azeez Mohammed, has attributed his team’s 2-0 defeat against Nasarawa United to poor finishing.

Last season’s league top scorer, Anas Yusuf, and Abubakar Abdullahi scored for Nasarawa United in the matchday tie played at Lafia City Stadium.

Mohammed noted that his players lost concentration during the game.

The young tactician, however, admitted that Nasarawa United deserved to win.

“It was a normal game, but we lost our focus in the second half and failed to convert our chances, allowing them to take advantage of theirs. The better side won,” Mohammed commented after the match.
