Kwara United secured a crucial 3-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Matchday 33 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Sunday, significantly boosting their fight for survival.

The win sees Kwara United climb out of the relegation zone into 14th position, while El-Kanemi Warriors now find themselves in the relegation net.

Kwara United started strong, with J. Aimufua opening the scoring in the 10th minute to give them an early lead. The home side continued their dominance, and M. Samsudeen doubled their advantage in the 31st minute, sending them into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

The second half saw no let-up from Kwara United. A. Abdulsalam sealed the emphatic victory in the 69th minute, making it 3-0.

The comprehensive win was a testament to Kwara United’s determination to avoid the drop, and the three points could prove vital in their quest for NPFL safety.
