Niger Tornadoes have officially disbanded their entire technical unit in the wake of a challenging 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The club, popularly known as the Ikon Allah Boys, confirmed the decision in a concise statement released on Monday.

According to the announcement, the coaching team led by Majin Mohammed has been relieved of its duties with immediate effect.

The Minna-based outfit endured a turbulent campaign, struggling to find any real consistency from start to finish.

Despite securing a narrow 1–0 victory over Shooting Stars in their final fixture of the season on home soil, the team finished a lowly 14th in the league table with just 48 points.

That position placed them perilously close to the relegation zone, and only a few results elsewhere spared them from dropping into the lower division.

Throughout the season, Tornadoes failed to string together consecutive wins and often looked vulnerable both defensively and in attack.

The management’s decision to dissolve the entire technical crew signals a clear intent to overhaul the club’s approach ahead of the next campaign, as they look to rebuild and avoid another near-miss with relegation.
