Sunshine Stars technical adviser, Bala Abubakar, has acknowledged the importance of fans during matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Abubakar believes that playing without fans takes a significant advantage away from the home team.

He expressed his team’s commitment to overcoming challenges in the NPFL.

Sunshine Stars are currently playing their home matches at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne due to ongoing renovations at their original ground in Akure.

“Playing away from home also takes away a significant advantage, approximately 70%,” Abubakar told Owosports.
