As part of its preparation for the 2027 general election, the National Rescue Movement (NRM), has held a capacity building programme to reposition the party to deliver on the party’s manifesto and vision ahead of the 2027 general election.
The capacity building for the National Management Committee (NMC) NRM led by the acting national chairman, Prince (Dr) Chinedu Obi (Ohamadike), was held over the weekend in Abuja.
The party’s leadership completed the Executive Master Class at the GOTNI Leadership Centre for capacity building.
The session was anchored by the president and CEO GOTNI Leadership Centre, Dr. Linus Okorie.
The acting national chairman of the party, Prince Chinedu Obi, who spoke with newsmen shortly after the training, said “this is one of the various powerful programmes, mapped out by the party leadership to better position the party properly towards winning vital elective positions at different levels in future elections, especially the forthcoming 2027 general election,” a statement by the acting national publicity secretary, Peter Letsuwa, said.
The statement further quoted the party chairman, Thus: “You cannot give what you do not have; effective Leadership in the 21st century requires continuous learning and unlearning to meet the challenges and expectations of the century.”
According to Obi, “It is a new dawn for NRM, as the party is prepared to provide Nigerians with the platform to redress their regrets.”
“The party is getting ready to rescue our dear country as our name clearly indicates. And we call on more passionate Nigerians who earnestly desire a new Nigeria to come onboard as the train is already on the move.
“Don’t sit on the fence watching as history is made, be part of history by joining this great team so we can rescue our beloved nation together,” he noted.
