In a statement signed by Alhaji Usman Usman, the CSOs said the strategic appointments of Ribadu and Matawalle marked a turning point in the fight against insecurity.

According to Usman, as National Security Adviser, Ribadu has implemented multi-faceted strategy which integrates military, political, and socio-economic initiatives, prioritizing cross-border cooperation, youth empowerment, and local institution reinforcement.

He noted that Matawalle, meanwhile, has taken the fight to the bandits, adding that his leadership has brought hope to troubled region.

The CSOs, however, urged Nigerians to continue to support Ribadu and Matawalle, adding that community-based initiatives and cooperation are vital.

Usman further said: ā€œTo Ribadu and Matawalle, we say: do not relent. Your work brings hope. Continue your tireless efforts.
