The director-general of the National Sports Commission (NSC) ,Hon. Bukola Olopade, has pledged the support of the commission for the National Institute for Sports (NIS) in order to make it actualise its core mandates.

While receiving the director-general of the institute, Professor Olawale Moronkola and the Busar, Mrs Nyankno Oluokun, in his office in Abuja on Thursday, Olopade assured that with the feelers he and the Chairman Malam Shehu Dikko had received about the changes at the Institute, they will continue to lend support to the NIS.

Prof. Moronkola said he and the Bursar Mrs. Ololade Nyanko Oluokun decided to pay a congratulatory visit to Hon. Olopade following his recent appointment as the Director General, National Sports Commission.

Olopade commended the Prof. Moronkola – led administration for turning around positively the fortunes of NIS since he assumed office as attested to by stakeholders.
