Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command have arrested six suspected vandals in connection with vandalisation of electricity facilities at Hayin Da’e and Hotoro Communities in Tarauni local government area of the state.

Spokesperson of the Command, Ibrahim Abdullahi, in a statement, attributed the arrest to credible intelligence received from local vigilantes in the area.

According to Abdullahi, the suspects were apprehended by NSCDC personnel with vandalised transformer cables believed to have been stolen at a midnight operation.
