The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested nine suspects involved in criminal activities around Mubi and its environs in Adamawa state.

The operation was conducted in identified black spots, and items recovered from the suspects include dangerous weapons—such as a firearm and knives—as well as illicit drugs and other controlled substances.

Acting swiftly and decisively on this mandate, the State Commandant, Idris Bande, immediately mobilised and deployed a team of specially trained operatives to execute the operation with maximum efficiency and professionalism.

The raid was in line with ongoing efforts to rid the state of criminal elements and enhance public safety.

The exercise specifically targeted identified black spots within the Mubi metropolitan area known for illicit activities.
