The chief security officer, Elisha Haruna Embugishiki to the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Imo State command, Mathew Sunday Ovye has died in a fatal motor accident.

The accident occurred on Wednesday along Makurdi road while he was enroute to Jos, the Plateau State capital from Owerri.
The public relations officer of the Imo State command, CSC Chimeziri Lowell confirmed the development to LEADERSHIP.

LEADERSHIP further gathered that the deceased officer was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead while his remains have been deposited in a morgue.
Already, the NSCDC Imo command has been thrown into mourning as officers expressed shock over the death even as they prayed for the repose of the Embugishiki soul.
