According to a statement by the spokesperson of the command, Ibrahim Abdullahi, the arrest was made by personnel of the Corps deployed to the facility and handed over to the Anti-Vandalism Unit, who interrogated them and led to the arrest of more suspects.

He said the suspects involved in the crime include 20-year-old Abubaka Umar, Sadiq Jafar (23), Iliya Nasir (20), Abba Muhammad (18) and Al-ameen Idris (18).

Other accomplices are Shamsu Ibrahim Usman (35) and Yusuf Abdulmumini (25) of Daiba Rijiyar Lemo and Kurna Babban Layi, respectively.
