The command‘s image maker, Nyako Amidu Baba, said the deployment is crucial to ensuring the smooth conduct of Saturday‘s council polls in the state.

Baba said the state commandant Mainasara has instructed all personnel to demonstrate utmost professionalism and to collaborate closely with other security agencies.

„The command has enhanced patrols and intelligence-gathering efforts to facilitate proactive responses. We count on timely and reliable information from the public to promptly address any potential threats to peace.

Additionally, the public is informed of temporary restrictions on movement and the closure of public spaces (such as markets, motor parks, and recreation centres) from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024, with exceptions for essential services.
