Suspected kidnappers have abducted a woman and her two children in Ajase- Ipo community of Irepodun local government area of Kwara State.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the trio were abducted on November 7, 2024.

The kidnappers had, however, set free the woman while still holding on to her two children in their den.

The man who served as the informant of the kidnappers, Abu Usman Soja and whose phone was used to contact the family of the victims has been arrested by men of the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The state Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr Umar Muhammed on Tuesday confirmed the arrest of Soja.
