Team Delta Extends Lead On Medal Table

Team Delta are leaving no stone unturned as they seek to retain the National Sports Festival title. Team Delta, which has won the three editions of the Games, has so far amassed a total of 171 medals, comprising 70 gold, 39 silver and 62 bronze at the Gateway Games 2024.

The disclosure was contained in the medal table released by the organisers of the games yesterday at the time of filing this report.

Behind Delta is Team Bayelsa, which is second on the medals standing with 112 medals, comprising 46 gold, 34 silver, and 42 bronze.

Team Rivers is third on the medal table with 107 medals, made up of 39 gold,30 silver and 38 bronze

Hosts Ogun State is fourth with 100 medals, comprising 39 gold, 26 silver, and  35 bronze. followed by Edo with 33 gold, 65 silver, and 60 bronze medals in fifth position.
