The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has inaugurated a nine-member credentials committee for the forthcoming national triennial delegates conference of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) slated for Abuja on November 15.

While inaugurating the committee during an online meeting, yesterday on Zoom platform, the president of NUJ, Chief Chris Isiguzo, said the committee would midwife the process that would lead to the conference.

He urged the committee to leverage on the NUJ constitution to regulate the discharge of its function.

“There’s no other document you will be using from anywhere. It is the NUJ constitution,” he said.

The committee members include Comrade Michael Ikeogwu, chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, representing the NUJ, as chairman, with Ruth Tene of the FCT Council, representing NAWOJ as secretary.
