‘NYG 2023, Forerunner To Celebrate Nigeria’s 63rd Independence’

The 7th National Youth Games will serve as a forerunner to celebrate Nigeria’s 63rd Independence anniversary, which will be marked on October 1st, 2023.

The game was originally billed for 7 to 17 September, 2023 but rescheduled to take place from 20 to 30th September, 2023 in Asaba, Delta state.

This information was made clear in a telephone chat with the

President of Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), who doubles as Chairman, Delta State Sports Commission, Chief Tonobok Okowa said the new date was confirmed after he had a meeting with the Federal Ministry of Sports Development.
