NYSC Board Chairman Loses Sister

The death has been announced of Madam Nkoko Etagbo Eta.

The late Madam Eta, who died yesterday morning, was the elder sister of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC)from Cross Rivers State and chairman of the board of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), Ntufam Hilliard Eta.

A statement by the former national vice chairman, South South of the APC, described the late Eta as “a cherished member of our family whose presence, love, wisdom and strength meant so much to us.”

The statement disclosed that “Further details regarding her funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.”

It read:” It is with a deeply heavy heart and sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved elder sister, Madam Nkoko Etagbo Eta, who departed this life in the early hours of today.

“Her passing has left our family deeply heartbroken. She was not only my elder sister but also a cherished member of our family whose presence, love, wisdom and strength meant so much to us.

“At a time like this, words are difficult to find. We can only thank God for the life she lived, the memories she left behind, and the impact she made on those who knew and loved her.

“On behalf of my family, I sincerely request the prayers, support and understanding of friends, associates and well-wishers as we mourn this painful loss and come to terms with her passing.

“Further details regarding her funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.

“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
