Director general of NYSC, Brigadier General Yusha’u Ahmed, at the opening ceremony of 2024 CDS activities and Director General’s CDS award in Abuja yesterday, also honoured staff and collaborating partners who excelled in their endeavours.

The director general’s CDS award was instituted in 2021 to encourage and rekindle the interest of corps members, staff and collaborating partners in community development activities in order to promote healthy competition amongst them.

The event, organised under the theme, “Excellence in Action: Celebrating NYSC CDS Success Stories,” has four categories of the award-the best CDS groups, best individual CDS, best CDS officers and best collaborative agencies.

In the best CDS groups category, NEMA CDS group, Borno State emerged first, education and ICT CDS group, Adamawa, second and Legal Aid CDS group and Taraba State won third position.
