The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has sought the support of stakeholders to stop the unqualified graduates in the mobilisation process.

NYSC director general, Brig. General Yusha’u Ahmed stated this at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Pre- mobilisation workshop in Abuja on Thursday.

Speaking on the theme, “Unlocking Innovative Solutions to the Challenges of the Mobilization Process,” he said the recurring nature of some of the challenges faced in its operation had necessitated the adoption of more enduring strategies, especially the application of digital solutions.

Ahmed said unqualified graduates pose serious threat to the socio-economic wellbeing of the country, especially when allowed to penetrate the workforce of sensitive sectors such as health and education.
He said management was committed to repositioning the scheme for greater efficiency and will continue to embrace innovations, especially digital solutions that would ensure seamless mobilisation exercise.
