President of the Obafemi Awolowo University Alumni Association Worldwide, Barr Fred Aburu has challenged Nigerians to cultivate the habit of hard-work, transparency and dedication as they represent the road map to success in any human endeavour.

This is even as he urged the citizenry to render quality service and portray impeccable character for higher productivity to the nation.

Barr Aburu emphasized that the training they received in Obafemi Awolowo University was aimed at excellence and expressed excitement that members all over the world were measuring up to expectations.
“To whom much is given, much is expected. We are a people of excellence, a thorough breed and will always display these at all times.

“You have tremendous potentials, a lot have been deposited in you and the end product should be perfect and excellent performance,” he stated.

He submitted that there are two universities in Africa, “Obafemi Awolowo University and others” as exemplified by the level of teaching and learning made available by the institution.
