Oba Francis Olusola Alao of Olugbon Orile Igbon, Oyo State has called on states, local government areas and all relevant institutions to strengthen traditional institutions at states and local government levels.

He said with President Bola Tinubu-led administration and his ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda, Nigeria would reclaim its lost glory as it celebrates the 63rd Independence milestone.

He said states need to participate and take an active role in traditional institutions while calling for developmental strides amongst states at local government levels.

Oba Alao who spoke on the sidelines to mark Independence Day called for deep reflection on the legacies of the nation’s past heroes and their sacrifice for the country.

He said it was more important than ever to work together to reposition the county to reclaim its lost glory.

His words: “On behalf of the good people of Orile Igbon in Oyo State, I warmly congratulate Nigerians on the 63rd Independence Day celebration.
