On Sunday, the Media and Public Relations Director, Yeye Asa Obatalae Agbaye, Olori Hilda Oduwole Busari, announced two major events to showcase Badagry‘s rich cultural traditions.
The first event, the Agboye Isese ati Asa Conference, will occur from April 7 to April 13, 2025.

“This week-long conference aims to bring together scholars, artists, and community leaders for workshops, lectures, and cultural performances.

“It is designed to foster unity and preserve the cultural heritage of Badagry and its people.”
He said the second event, Isese Day, is scheduled for August 18 to 24, 2025. It promises a vibrant celebration with colourful processions, traditional dances, and musical performances.

“Participants will don traditional attire adorned with intricate accessories, showcasing the region‘s diverse cultural heritage.
