Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has paid a condolence visit to the Yar’Adua family in Katsina State following the passing of Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’Adua, mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.
Obasanjo was received by Governor Umaru Radda and other dignitaries at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport. The delegation then proceeded to the Yar’Adua family residence, where Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua and business tycoon Dahiru Barau Mangal welcomed them.

During his visit, Obasanjo fondly remembered Hajiya Dada Yar’adua as a caring mother and praised her hospitality and kindness. He offered prayers for the departed soul, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings.

Governor Radda expressed his gratitude to Obasanjo for his visit, stating that it reflects the unity and compassion that bind the nation together.

The visit highlights the respect and esteem in which the Yar’adua family is held across Nigeria’s political spectrum and the enduring bonds of leadership in the country.
