The Coalition of INEC Accredited Domestic Election Observers have condemned calls for review of the governorship and state assembly elections in Adamawa State.
Comrade Victor Kalu, team leader of the group at a press conference in Yola yesterday condemned the continuous protests in INEC offices in Yola and Abuja over the elections.
Kalu said those calling for review or cancellation of the elections are changing the goal post at the middle of the game in order to score a cheap goal.
He urged stakeholders to support INEC in ensuring peaceful conclusion of the election slated for April 15.
The observers pleaded with INEC to engage political stakeholders to ensure free and fair supplementary elections in the state.
“By so doing, INEC will dowse the growing political tension and uncertainty in the state ahead of the rerun polls.
“To the best of our observation, INEC, showed high level of professionalism in ensuring credible, free and fair governorship elections in the state,” they added.
